After I parked, the guy parked next to me. It was a Shelby CSX-VNT. I had never seen one before, and I don't think I've seen one since. His mods were a hollowed cat and tweaks to run more boost.
I said "you probably don't lose many roll races". He replied, "Nope".
Another car from the 80's lost to history. If you found an original CSX-VNT today, no one would believe it was fast and you would blow it up trying to prove to someone that its was fast and all the ones that were fast 25 years ago are all broken and gone, The obscure car conundrum.
