They are not trying hard to 'sell' you these products; they are just going to 'give' them away after they (willfully) 'fail' them on purpose. Do you think they are going to just throw out all those projects that 'failed' after spending millions? Threats to freedom of movement such as autonomous vehicles are a conflict of interest to the future of vehicle restoration / modification forums because we both use the same internet. Autonomous vehicles are arguably not 'free enterprise' products because they are often times sponsored with grant money from the state, and because of the financial bail-outs of the Detroit big 3.
1985 Back to the Future is released. The thought of time travel has intrigued us all and yet it is still not probable. Smart cars driving themselves around now that is probable. It in no way deters anyone from Vehicle restoration. Nor does it change the requirements of driving privileges. Companies and Manufacturers will issue warnings and have by laws instilled into these. The same way anything has ever came to be. Building a hot rod, a street car, a pro touring car, a tuner or a rocket powered moped will still be there. And wont go anywhere. It is through men and women like the ones on this page to continue it. My Son, 6, wants his Daddy's focus. He wants it because we talk about how fast it can go. because he helped my polish the wheels and wipe off some wax. Being that he is so young it is a lifestyle I hope to instill in him. Because I want him to broke to buy drugs. Its our responsibility to keep the traditions we all know and love traditions. The car scene will never ever change or go anywhere. I did not explore other aspects outside of driving in what you are referring to as 'the conspiracy' which obviously does exist or we would not have articles coming out with public officials quoting on robots delivering people to work in the past tense as if it were already happening. My goal was strictly to cause people to reflect on whether it would be better to proceed into a future in which we had autonomous vehicles connected to the internet or not. Instead we have people trying to sidetrack me into pointless debates. You are already taking the autonomous car for granted when we could easily make laws banning its production ahead of time before it's too late. There was a time in history when people chose cars over the horse or the bicycle. This is not that debate. This is about the higher concept of corporations intruding interest within government and laying the framework for the possibility of a corrupt establishment using it to enslave you, regardless of whether or not you trust the current people in office. I would urge you to spend a few minutes in some newer cars and you will notice they do not have a physical door lock that works if the battery is killed from the outside. There is no such thing as a coincidence; all things are relative. Whether a person be a Christian, a Scientist, or neither one, my proposal to sound this alarm should be just common sense.
