Best way to ship a Sway bar?

I dunno what your quote was, but for the sake of shared info: I sold a pair of Flowtech SBO headers to a member in Austin, TX. USPS charged me 63 dollars to ship.

I think he boxed it and UPS wanted to Charge him $331. He told him he could ship a refrigerator for that.

Its a Hollow F-body bar that weighs about 15 lbs, so it isn't even that heavy.

He went with USPS for $41. Should be here by Saturday.

We'll see how the delivery goes. My mailman drives a left hand drive minivan from the right bucket seat. He uses his left foot for gas and he has an add on right foot brake (like it was an old driver's ed car).

From now on when I hear about some old person getting in their car and hitting the wrong pedals and driving into a store, I will check to see if they were mailmen.

I was a rural temp for the USPS back around 2000 & used my '72 with a 4 speed & glass packs. I used to sit centered so I could reach the clutch pedal. Nothing like trying to clutch/shift/stop/deliver mail all at the same time. Not the smartest car to use but the bosses don't believe me that there was that extra pedal.
