Just ran across this while searching for an unrelated google image. Looks like instead of frame notching, he "narrowed" the factory frame and stiffened it up. Basically back halved, using factory metal.

Interesting concept. Cant argue with the results. Probably works pretty good if you modify the spring/shock rates im guessing.

That's allot of tire!! Just a little curious as to the reasoning behind using factory rear suspension anything. Still sweet though

Old school back half, its actually not that uncommon to use the stock rails and just move them in. A local guy has a cutlass that has been done the same way.

Now that is dedication. Too bad the tires on the frame never fit the body.

That is neat. Probably wouldn't trust myself to do it and maybe only worth it if you plan to go in a sraight line. Also, routing the exhaust past the rear end looks like it would be real tight.

Looks like he could run the pipes UNDER the axle tubes. The Coilovers on full droop don't seem to go down very far.

Either CarCraft or Hot Rod (think it was CC) did one this way back when the cars were new, might still have the mag kicking around/

Oh yeah, they put a roots-blown V6 in it as I recall

Found it online

If I could do what that dog can do I would even care about GBody's or anything else.
