what cam would you guys recommend for my olds 307 bored 40? i dont want a "gas guzzler" per say..but a nice street/strip cam ig? im lost when it comes to these things

A cam cannot be recomended unless you provide alot more info.

We need to know how much compression you have, how big of a stall, rear gear ratio, carb size, heads and valve springs, and what the car will be used for(street, strip, both?).

changed mind go save all that cam stuff for a bigger engine. just go buy headers

Good idea. Headers, dual exhaust and most of all a gear swap will make the most difference. I see you have the HO 307 which is slightly better, depending on the rebuild.
