You will probably have 9:1 then. Im not positive because I don't know what exactly the dish in those pistons are measured at but you will be about there. There are compression ratio calculators out there that will give you a close estimate. A 64cc head with a 4 valve relief flat top piston will bring you in about 10:1 roughly depending on gasket thickness and what if any has been taken off the block. So yea, my guess would be that you would be about there.

wicked thanks alot, i got a pretty good book with formulas and stuff so ill look into that more.

I noticed today that the block has kinda an old gloss black paint job that i want gone so i can re paint it. Any ideas on how i can remove the old paint? is sandpaper my only option?

Gotta love opening a parts box.

If its the bare block you could use aircraft stripper. Its very toxic tough so use gloves and dont get it on anything you dont want stripped.

oh nice thanks. When im installing my new cam, do i line the dots on the crank and cam sprocket up? ive heard you put the cam dot 180 away from the cranks dot. But my boxwrench dvd says line them up. any advice?

Your fine to put it dot to dot. The number 1 and 6 cylinders are companion cylinders. Both are at top dead center when you go dot to dot. However the number 6 is at TDC compression stroke. It does not matter how you do it. The only thing that matters is that you don't drop the distributor in while the engine is dot to dot. You will be 180 out. When you get the heads on you will be able to find TDC compression stroke on the number one and then drop the distributor in.

i have airsoft guns too. nice looking engine...
