im having a hard time finding rocker arms. is there a certain spec i need to know or will stock rockers work on these heads?

Do the push rods have guide plates or are their guides cast into the head? If they need guides of some kind I would just use self aligning rockers so you don't have to piss with setting up guide plates.

Yep and the push rod holes are there so just run a basic stamped rocker if that is what you want. I do not know what diameter your rocker studs are but I would assume 3/8. So you would just need a standard set of rockers for 3/8 stud. Unless you want to go with full roller rockers. A word of advice for you, if you buy the old style stamped rockers get poly locks for it and do not use the old style interference nut. I do not like them. Poly locks for stamped rockers are not too much, think I paid about 25 bucks for mine.

Looks like a good engine combination going on there. Can't wait to see it together and running. You should have no problem making your expected horsepower numbers there

sweet thanks! i cant wait to hear it fire up this summer, or sooner!

Personally I think roller tip rockers are a waste of money. The reason full roller rockers free up power is by reducing friction. The friction they reduce is more in the trunnion part of the rocker not at the rocker tip. Roller tip rocker provide less side loading the on the valve tip which could translate into less wear but really your not gaining much power if any. If you are not willing to spend the money on full rollers than save the money and buy stamped rockers.
