No offense meant, but that made my head hurt, so many easier ways to do that, too labor intensive to make good sense.

I like honesty.

Heater cores are cheap, and easy to change on a G body, not sure I'd go to the trouble of cleaning a 30 year old one, especially if it's been sitting with sludge in it....corrosion is very likely.
