Not if you have OCD. While it’s open I should do......
OCD isn't always bad. I spent a fortune on the cam swap/DOD delete in my truck. 82k miles later it is just as reliable as factory equipment.

OCD sucks almost as bad as thinking you’ll never need something again and throwing it away..... god I do that too much....

Carry on Mike, I enjoy seeing you're little tips and tricks. I have learned a few good things on your threads.

I’m super interested in your porting. Do you find it helps spool speed? Or just airflow? Just wondering if you’ve done any back to back comparisons? Or before/after?

All of this porting is really about best practices as it relates to air flow and air mass. And yes, pressure differentials and potential spool times are definitely at play here - especially if you can reduce the restictions. I am in the middle of building the passenger side turbo manifold right now I'll be adding a port to measure the back pressure just to see. Unfortunately back-to-backs are not going to happen with a $150 turbo.

This video sums it up pretty well:

Built from junk I've had laying around for years. Why? To prove I could.

I still need to add the v-bands, flex couplings, wastegate and downpipe
