MONTE CARLO "COPO" Monte Carlo SS - Turbosaurus Build (Swinging Dick Racing's c*ck got bent... she bounced a little too high & hard, & came down awkwardly)

A guy doesn't solve that nightmare and not go out to test his work. It peaked around 163kpa (+/-9psi), the IATs are icy cool, the timing is all there now (no knock on 91). There is no way that was 76mph... LOL.

This car scares me like the HellKitty with the traction control off. Given that this beer can is 1000lbs lighter and I still don't know what it makes for peak power it makes sense... just extrapolate the curve. I shoulda wore my brown pants.

Did your hands have "the shakes"??? Nothing like an adrenaline dump from horsepower and torque!!

Told Natasha that the experience was better than sex... with other people. I only have to sleep on the couch tonight.

On the way back from getting the drag radials the Monte decided it was too heavy.

Dragged it for a couple kms and it fell off in my driveway, even after Natasha showed up with some bungie cords.

Also, drag radials.

The sting of the walk of shame has faded and I decided to fix my mistake.

But since the exhaust was already out of the way I elected to replace the slip yoke with a 1' longer unit. That was harder than it should have been.

Then I popped the exhaust back on, squeezed my nuts in a vice, and added another hanger. Might save my bacon if this doesn't fall off again in a week.

No pics.

Then as a reward for being a good boy I put the new wheels/tires on the car. Replaced a 1.5" adapter with an 1" adapter and then crudely rolled the lips a hair with a pipe.

Done.

My brother has the other two wheels, and I might get them back just to have a matching set. The goal is to put a 245/45R17 on the front 17x9s and have 30" tall 390s or 315s in the rear on a pair widened to 12". Of course I will have to properly tub the car. Hopefully this Winter.

Fast and homely. I like it, a lot.
