If you are getting fuel in the oil I wouldn't run the car till you have the gas figured out. You're washing the walls of the cylinder with gas and you can ruin an engine doing that.
I don't have the specs in front of me but yes it was rated to handle it.What is the output pressure of the pump and is the regulator rated to handle it?
Only if you are running two separate fuel systems, all you need is one good one if your fuel system is set up correctly.Anyone ever hear of running 2 fuel pressure regulators?
I just got an email back from a tech at Aeromotive and they said my return line is too small which is causing the restriction I suppose. So now I get to buy another 15+ feet of -8 AN and plumb another line. Shoulda just stayed with the stock mechanical pumpOnly if you are running two separate fuel systems, all you need is one good one if your fuel system is set up correctly.
I am thinking there is possibly a restriction in your return line somewhere or a venting issue with your fuel tank or cell.
True im just tired of the nonstop set backs. Im gonna talk to the guy that built my Qjet and see if there is anything he can do to make it run right with higher fuel pressure. Im not sure if I can just swap the needle and seat setup for a higher pressure one. Then that would hold me over until I could afford a new Holley or Demon. That should fix the problem and after that you'll be happy with the work you have done. Why leave something stock when it's more fun learning something.
