Ok, let me how you make out. I have my mirror in the Buick right now. Since it is all apart, I can snap some pics or take meter readings etc.
That would be awesome. I dont have my meter back yet so im kinda stuck doing everything the trial and error method. I have found that some of these require the constant power source and the primary ground to be swapped because both Ford and GM used them and they had opposite style door switches. When I had it on the battery I had it hooked up the same way as in the car so I dont think that is my issue just figured I would throw it in here for future reference.

OK, I have to work late tonight, but I will be going out into the garage anyhow, I'll sneak a pic and snap some pics for ya.

Ok. Mine is a three wire. Orange, white, black. Orange is constant 12vdc, white goes to the pins, black is constant ground.

Thanks or the help liquidh8 but I found the issue. I got my meter out and found that there was power at the fuses and that the door switches are good. I was getting 122 mV at the mirror and dome light. Traced the orange wire back to find that the loss in voltage came from the white junction block thing under the dash above the fuse box. I cut the wire from there and soldered it into the main power line for that junction block thing. Now it works as well as the dome light. Im kinda hoping that thats why my wiper motor doesnt work anymore but I got too drunk to dig any deeper. Thanks again for all the help!

Awesome! Glad you fixed it. And I hear you on the too drunk, lol. Seems to happen to me often in the summer! 😀

I have this mirror stock in a 1992 Buick Century Wagon. it doesn't work as a courtesy light (with the door switches) the way it was wired from factory. Have any of y'all tried replacing the bulbs? I'm starting to replace all the interior lights with leds, so the battery isn't killed so quickly with the motor off, and it's not apparent how to take these apart without destroying something. Thanks!

Replacing the bulbs isnt hard just be careful not to break the plastic lenses. I put LEDs in mine and all I had to do was pop out both clear lenses and then use a 90* pick to pull the bulbs down. I also closed up the contacts before I put the new ones in so they would be tighter.
