Edelbrock Carb Set-Ups Post Pics

you guys will remember they set those 3 of 2 bbl carbs up on an intake way back in the 50's and their still selling that set up today for more than the price of a car back in the 50's

Bill, you mean the old 2GC? Yup that was a very capable carb. In fact you could play with the jets just like a Q-jet and tailor the carb to your motor. I had a 72' Catalina with a 2GC on a 400. It worked great.

I would imagine that is the same carb. I think its like 550 or 600 cfm so its pretty big for a two barrel. Never had any issues with that set up either, until the rings finally went on the motor. Thats why I have the same set up going in my Salon.... :mrgreen:
 
Hey guys so i got a edelbrock 600 cfm...finally!!!! hahahaha :rofl:

But I forgot how the throttle/kick down cable/and spring go? do i need to make adjust ments..


can u please post pics of ur set-up to better help me out....i know where the throttle cable goes, and i think the spring...but where does the kickdown cable go???

on my quadajet it had somewhere it went....help please with pics???
