Thas fine I can get oneTo go to a TH350 you'll need to replace the trans crossmember.
I need a new carb and don't have a lot of money to play with and also not a fan of quadrajet,,,,,I have a 79 monte carlo with a bad motor that I can use for parts. It has the 350 turbo and the distributor I can use.If you are computer controlled and want to stay that way then I would get the carb rebuilt, if you don't want to be computer controlled then you need a non CCC carb, distributor and also a lock up kit so that the 200R4 works correctly.
IMO buying a crossmember and running a th350 instead of having a 200R4 with overdrive is going backwards and the kit is probably cheaper than the crossmember.
I am curious as to what you feel will be the benefit of running the Edelbrock over the quadrajet?

Then I guess I wasted my time,,I hope that is not the case..As of right now the Edelbrock works good on another car. What happens if you can't get the Edelbrock to run right after swapping the carb, distributor and trans?
