No time for progress again this week , but took to a new saturday night local cruise site where a few people wondered where I been the past year. This former national carburetor building is now a sports / muscle car storage/ sales facility/ event building, etc. Public area had a demon, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Jag, Tesla, cuda, 69 Z-28, 63 vette, Z 06 vette, among others there. Told a few friends at night 500 foot away, you can mistake me for the orange car.😗
Then of course it had to rain, me in raw sheet metal.😢 Wiped down with alcohol when I got home.

That's looking real good Joe, there's a lot of talented work showing in the fabrication.
I first saw this car on the the El Camino forums, glad to see you over here too.

Finally got back outside late last 2 nights. It's still 84 degrees outside at 11;00 here, better than the 90 degrees at 7 when I got home. Started removing rust from raw sheet metal and getting started on the second side of my rear visor as warmup work for the quarter panel work. Got the 2 halfs ready to weld together.
Damn but it's hard to pick up where you left off on custom work.
