I had the same problem with one that i bought from the yard. Yeah, some of the pulleys are pressed on & d@mn near impossible to get off. I just took it back & swapped it for another one. I used the impact to get the nut off of the new one & the pulley came right offpatmckinneyracing said:The nut is already off guys. Had it in the vice and used my impact gun on it last night. I had pulled the v belt pulley off my SI alternator with no problem at all.
