F the CS144 alternator

where did you get the alternator from?...if it's a rebuilt I'd bring it back cause it seems like someone maybe started putting it on crooked and forced it on..
 
Its stock, pulled it from a mid to late 90's cadillac deville
 
it your not planning on using the pulley that your trying to remove drill a hole in the pulley right beside the shaft to relieve some of the pressure
 
Cut-off wheel. Slice it in half. Don't damage the shaft though, like I did. 😳
 
that must have been put on with loctite....there is one tool that has been in my family for as long as I can remember and we only use it at dire times like these....

that's funny, cause I know we have one that belonged to my grandfather and it still works great. Had a new one that came with the house and the stick broke on it after two swings. Shitty quality with everything these days.
 
or if another couple of holes are drilled to line up with a steering wheel puller and try to get off with that with some nuts and bolts
 
Nope, went out today and got a CS130 alternator and used the CS144 as a core. CS130 serp pulley came right off no problem and the v belt pulley is on now.
