It seems like the seller has been more than forthright with you...that's generally a good sign...as long as you don't discover hidden problems.
Did you have a local guy look the car over in your behalf, or is it all done by photos and correspondence?
In any case, I hope the weather is in your favor when it comes time to drive it home. I could understand your apprehension concerning pulling a trailer on icy roads.
