It plugs into the fuse box, and you ground the unit with a lug under a dash screw, very easy to install or remove.

Cheers,
Howie

This would be for my 86' Regal, so do I remove a fuse to plug it in or do you use a specific accessory port?

Here is a $17.49 option.....It would appear that there is some huge mark up on the Window Turbo

I would urge caution using a generic Boost module, and it would require cutting harnesses, etc, but knock yourself out! It's only a hobby, right?

Cheers!

Agreed. There is probably a slight learning curve there but I found that link with only 30 seconds of searching. The current rating seems to be enough for a window motor. The average US consumer gets screwed on most everything else that is sold retail so whats another $140 right? For those with an electronics background it should be doable. I'd bet that the circuit used on the Window Turbo is an off the shelf item available somewhere.

For anyone using the LMC relay harness, trying a $20 15V E-bay boost module would be pretty easy to do (it can all be done under the hood). You only are out $20 if it doesn't work. If it works, buy another and have one for each side.

Not sure why there are separate ground wires (- in and - out). Weird. There is probably a reason but I can't think of it. Maybe in a boat with no chassis ground.

You could also buy one of these and run it with an E-bay electric supercharger for 20% more boost*

*20% increase on .2 psi of .04 psi is still a 20% increase

I spoke with Pete over at Mr Clark's garage the item is legit and so is the seller.

Mr Clark has GENIUS status when it comes to these cars and if he is putting his name on it..well that is 100% good enough for me.

And for anyone that has never been to his May event I highly recommended it.

4 days of fun 2 at the garage and 2 racing!!

if you do some reading on this forum you'll see that many guys have done a bit more than splicing into a harness. It cost me less than $20 to get my windows to work a bit faster than when they came from factory so I'm happy with that, even if I did have to cut into a harness.
