Finally, my own LeMans body and paint thread!

Well, being told I might have her back Friday or Saturday. The main body is painted (just have to paint the front and rear bumper covers) and is getting clear coat tomorrow.

And one texted to me today from my painter, it is now clear coated 😀 😀

Well, I'm always up for coffee but I'm afraid the LeMans won't be seeing the light of day any time soon lol. Still lots of work to do.

Well, after a little over 7 months in the shop I finally got her home 🙂. Still need to get the front and rear plastic finished but at least I can start putting it together. My body guy wants me to bring it back once it's done so he can give it a final polish and detail (and fix any scratches I cause putting it together lol).

Thanks Steve! Been busy this week, so far my biggest struggle has been not being able to get the front and rear windshield mouldings to stick in the clips. Half of the front is locked but the rest is a no go. Here's some pics of what I've been up to on my week off...

Of course my daughter wanted to be the first to sit in the rear seat, she's been helping me this week. She loves wrenching on the car 😀
