F'n Gas Prices

SScamino nailed it. Luckilly I have a nice mountain bike that I am not afraid to use. I get everywhere with it and if I need to haul something big I go get the wagon. I'll need to get in shape after the holidays but I was doing 5 miles a day before the snow hit. In many ways I prefer the bike to driving anymore.

I don't live close enough to work to use another means besides driving. Even if I used public transportation I wouldn't fare (no pun intended) much better. I think it costs $2.25 to ride the bus or el now (haven't had to in a few years). No more free transfers either. I'd basically be spending $25 a week/$100 a month to ride public transportation to work. That's about what I spend on gas and I don't have to deal with the aggravation.

Where's all those fantastic work from home jobs anyway?

and instead of the squeegees to clean your windows at the gas station they'll be stocking this to ease your fill up...
