Hi fellas: I go to many collector car sites and they all have the same poll. I see alot of people complaining about gas prices but no one ever comes up with any ideas on how to bring them back down. I hope you watched the news on Thur. they already told us gas will be $ 5.00 + per gal. by 2012. They always have excuses the only ones who can turn this around is US.
The American people should have stuck with the truckers when Reagan deregulated gas prices. Thanks and have a great NEW YEAR!!!

$3.15 here on the 1st... way to stun the slow recovering economy...

There is no reason why gas should be over $1.75 US a gallon.. gotta love the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.. guess what? there will be tons more poor people than rich so i hope they have the manpower to stop a revolution! LOL

It's not the lack of ideas, technology or resources; it's the bastards that have everyone by the balls. There's too much money, power and control at stake to allow an alternative. I'm sure plenty of people trying to make a change have come up missing....and that ain't no sh*t either. Do you think the US really gives a rat's *ss about democracy in the middle east? Smoke and mirrors my friend, that's it.

The Obama backed Banking Reform law was supposed to address this. Several provisions like making speculators buy oil WITH THEIR OWN MONEY not borrowed were proposed. Another provision would have barred non-oil refining companies from buying up futures. These as well as many more that would have reined in the really shady deals that almost sunk the big banks were held hostage until removed by several scummo Senators like my own state's Shmuck Schumer. What bullshit. It's all about big money and you and I are paying the bills. Remember what happened when the huge banks were flat on their asses and NO ONE could get credit? My goodness, crude oil dropped to $40 a barrel, and gas almost hit $1.00 a gallon. They whitewashed that by saying everyone's out of work and demand is down. Did YOU see less people on the roads? But after the TARP bailouts, big bonuses came back and money stared flowing back to the sure bets like oil speculation and they have systematically inched up the price right back to the bad old Bush days before the sh*t hit the fan. I agreed with the guy in Airplane! that said "I say, LET them crash!" because they went right back to cornholing all of us.

Oregon's gas tax went up 6 cents yesterday. It is $3.229 for 92 octane at the station I work at .

$3.49 for 87 for me yesterday.....and that's not even in the city. Get into the city and goes up at least 20 more cents.

A neighbor of mine just lost his job at a BP station. Before it happened though, he heard one of the regional bigwigs bragging about how it would be over $5 a gallon, late this year or early 2012....

It is currently $2.98 for regular, and climbing every day, here.

$3. and change here in Florida, depending on where you are, Orlando, Kissimmee, Miami, etc. I just paid a little over $60.00 for 5 gallons of Sunoco 112 for my race car!! That's nuts!! I'm gonna look into that E-85 stuff, the hell with racing gas. I met a guy that does the regular carbs over, and also sells a kit to convert your carb for the E-85. The kit is a little pricey, but the fuel is about $2,70 per gallon. ............mickey-d  :blam:

I just don't believe that 5 dollar a gallon stuff, they know what happened when it was only 3.80-4 dollars a gallon, people realized they didn't have to drive....
