But last year with a factory 350 Olds engine..... If I put in a fancy shifter can I hang out with the cool kids? 😆

It/was nice car. Would i like it...absolutely

But am i going to pay extra for a sticker and the WRONG sticker to boot......absolutely not

the 350 that was in that car is an embarrassment to its heritage.

W-31 for small blocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of interesting comments.

The number that was on the mail box was no good, I did leave a note in the mail box with my number but on my next trip In two weeks I’ll be hitting up the business next door to see if small town people really know all their neighbors.

I fall in the “restore it as much as it can be camp” and while I’d rather have an 87 in grey/silver I maybe could suffer lol. It is in way better starting shape than my Malibu so the condition doesn’t deter me but this would be stored until the Malibu is finished. Or I could throw a spare LS in it and drive it as a survivor.😗
I would rather see it rot into dust. Don't forget the chebby ralleye wheels too.

Spend $30 K and 5 yrs to revive a car nobody wants for $10 K ?

I’d look elsewhere.

*rant on

To each their own but comments like those are why this hobby is dying.

Cars are not a good investment source and most are fools that believe they are unless you have the money to sit on them infinitely. Look at all the work Rktpwrd has done to his car that will be worth nowhere near the time/effort/dollars he has spent but he does it for the love of the hobby and his car, not for a trend, not for TV, not because it's a piggy bank.

If the price is right and I buy it, it will be built for me, not for some imaginary payday or to sell and sit in someones garage. At this point I'm gonna turbo LS swap it, put it on 24's, Louis Vitton interior, install a vinyl roof, and drag race it with a th200c/2.23 open rear end just so we can eat more popcorn on this forum.

Exactly my thoughts.

Who's in it for the money?

If you look at older cars as a source of revenue, you're (with a VERY few notable exceptions) nuts.
