Fuel pump

Hello all. My 85 Monte SS had been converted to run without the computer. It runs very well as is but I’d like to replace the fuel pump. The current pump has three ports. Fuel in. Fuel to the carburetor and a return line. The new pump I have doesnt have the return line. Is it ok to block off the return line and just use the other two? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd have a regulator in there somewhere if you go that route.

I would get a pump with a return line less vapor lock issues also it bleads off the pressure after you shut down engine . without that fuel could get past the needle and seat potentially flood the carb
