That it does. Problem with me is I've been away from where I grew up for so long I'm not sure anywhere is a natural fit anymore when it comes to weather. Again, more curiosity what states Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike is considering.

After spending most of last year 200 miles south of Miami, you'd be surprised how fast you acclimatize to it. AC in the bedroom, a gallon of water before noon and your set. That's a huge motivator for me, but damn I hate being hot.
music? checkI like the idea of Montana if we need to have winter. The physical move would be much shorter than Ontario to here.
Tennessee. Music, culture, and pro hockey. Much less winter.
god, I hope not! but then again, maybe that explains the ugly-american-tourist-rep overseasit is the embodiment of everything that the rest of the world thinks of when they think of America.
I'd have to agree the general opinions and behavior of most residents of Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin are an embarrassment and would create negative vibes for most sensible folk. They should move to commiefornia and be done with it.god, I hope not! but then again, maybe that explains the ugly-american-tourist-rep overseas
There are lots of great folks stuck in the biggest cities for work, probably like all big cities. However, the big cities are where all of the stinkers are. The most populous counties in Texas, like Harris County, where I live, suck. Full of stinkers. The rest is great. Go to paces like Llano or Eden to see the good parts. I expect Mike would be pretty happy in the Panhandle. The values are probably pretty in line with his, it's rural and there is still real winter. It's hot there though.I'd have to agree the general opinions and behavior of most residents of Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin are an embarrassment and would create negative vibes for most sensible folk. depends on what you like. high plains, prairies, forest, sea coast, hill country, farmland with trees. and the culture that goes with it, whether it be conservative or liberal, old crotchety folk or young activist folk. There are lots of great folks stuck in the biggest cities for work, probably like all big cities.
