Here's another one for you GP403 for the resources section, oldie but goodie that I rescued. I debated where to put it, as, parts fall into fuel/emissions/ignition related areas.

Yes, the generals of how these systems worked were similar across carlines. Yes, this will be useful for foguring out what these things do for your car before deleting or working on them. And finally, yes, it was written with an eye towards trucks by GMC for its technicians, which included many of these systems set up in the same or similar ways for both out pre-ccc and post-ccc gbodies...

That's said, here we go:

That's all for this one folks. As you can tell, some of these manuals are soon getting closer to 50 years old, and, they were meant to be used and disposed of shortly thereafter. To my best awareness they weren't really reproduced for the general public to purchase either.

Some of the shorter, more unique, manuals such as these I'll share as it becomes possible.

Thanks for the condensing. Unfortunately, the poor condition of this one makes it uneven enough that, as I expected, it wound up un-searchable. Wavy and dirty pages do that...

searchable is an extra bonus, just having the material is gold! Already started reading it and it's very educational.

Its mostly related to trucks but still useful for G bodies. Trucks back then have really weird setups.

It does hilight the importance of having good tin and gaskets when running a engine with PCV. The crankcase must be well sealed, no discount gaskets. Even getting a good China wall seal is important to avoid leaning the fuel mixture via the PCV system.

There's also a bit more overlap then it seems depending on the engine you're running. For example, the E.F.E. grid? The g-body n/a Buick 231 used those mounted on a thick spacer between the carb and intake, with a pair of funky squares set recessed into the intake surface. They would fairly often have the grids begin to melt with advanced age, but, the ccc system counted on it working when it managed fuel and such.

Then youve got the operations of the thermac unit which most people discount as just junk on a rusty air cleaner they toss to the side because the foil pipe for the heat stove is ugly and crushes.

As I looked through it I saw mainly a primer on the principles of how the various systems were meant to work. That way people can understand what they upset the balance of, and lose, when they just go hacking stuff off underwood- like the a.i.r. system.

But, in some measure, it's amusing anyways.
