So I got all my body bolts out and going to replace the mounts. Now I see that a lot of members here recommend the prothane mounts due to a better price verses energy suspension. My question is, does the prothane set come with the extra body mounts like energy suspensions? Also does anyone have a picture of where these exactly are? I want to put these on my Monte Carlo while I am doing them. Thanks!

you're looking at about a $50 different between the 2 brands. You will most likely never change the bod bushings again so the difference in price is negligible in the long run. I would buy the kit I liked and forget about the difference in price.

That extra mount on the GNX came on all of the other A/G bodies. It was the Buick Regal that did not come with it along with the lower cushions on the side mounts.

I agree with you 100%. I prefer the energy over the prothane because I have used energy bushings on other projects and were happy with the product. I didn’t know if the price difference was because the one set of mounts weren’t in the package. But saving $50 would be good. I could buy a footprint gas pedal!!:sneaky:
