I'm jelly.

If you are adopting.... I know a guy looking for a shop 🙂

You could cut your heating bills by filing up all that rafter space with car parts.

Put the exterior lights up and tested them. Finished adjusting the hoist and cleaning the place up. Still need to move my big compressor over and plumb it but I could probably start doing some actual work there now...kinda.

I need to build a work bench and a couple shelves. Might pick up a couple shop carts too. I have another metal office cabinet but haven't decided if I'm going to move it down there or not. Really, the next major project will probably be framing the bathroom.

Cavernous. What size is it? 40'x60'?

Still just 36x48. Pretty roomy right now though.
Ok, I had it hammed up, I admit it. It looks big to me and I couldn't remember the dimensions. It makes me feel great about our proposed 40'x40', which is roughly 3x my storage.

40x40 is a good size. I'd still go 48 wide though. As mine sits, I'd feel really comfy with 4 cars wide. Take away that 8' and it gets snug. Not sure what your configuration is going to be but 12x24 per car is really nice.
