Went over there yesterday -- excellent as always. My buddy was in town for the swap meet at the local drag strip. I was coveting this '36 but was about $44k short.

There was a '35 there too but it wasn't nearly as nice. I was only $29k short on it.

Makes me want to be there. The only thing missing was a taco run.

And the mention of brown dog. I love brown dog, he seems to love photo bombing. 😁

Brown dog is getting old. She used to hang out with me down there all day long. Now she gets bored after about an hour and heads back up the hill (slowly) to go back to bed. Not really sure how old she is but the vet thinks she's probably about 10 now. She moves slower and sleeps a lot.

No, not mine. I went with my dad to pick it up yesterday. 982 mile round trip. It was a long day on the road.

Absolutely rust free California car. The guy we picked it up from pulled it out of decades long storage and got it mechanically sorted. Three of the fenders need minor work but the rest of the body is great. Was originally dark red and probably repainted in the 50a or 60s. Upholstery is pretty shot though. Came with quite a few spare parts.

I'm not exactly sure how far he'll go with this one. It's just something that he turned up while hunting for a 35/36 pickup. It's a really good car to start a restoration or build with, just not on his bucket list.
