Just read this whole thread. Its better than binge watching Netflix! Couple of thoughts...with all of your incredible attention to detail,I find it hard to comprehend the use of the Chevy valve covers. 😵 Second thought is,it cant end here! Must know more! I have really enjoyed seeing your progress,makes me consider a road trip to OK to see it up close.

442 aeros only came with small block Chevys. This is not a real 442 but it was a 305 chevy originally. I'm a die hard Chevy small block guy. Even if it would have had a 307, I would have put in a 350 Chevy.

I feel you,and I didnt know that lil tidbit of info on the Chevy driven Salons...I realize they crossbred everything in the Eighties,I guessed I just preferred when they tried to hide it. Ala the generic GM Black everything. Once again,fantastic ride!
