Here is the other one Jack. This was several years back when my brother and i went to a race in OH that was mainly small boats. The old guy in this pic didn't have anybody to help launch or load his boat, so we helped him for the weekend.Scott,
Thanks for sharing the pics of the hydros. I love wooden boats. I'm sure they sound out of this world when they're they're out there running. I used to enjoy watching the alcohol running outboards. They had a sound of their own....and fast.
I also liked going to the vintage boat shows. There was a few old inboard hydros, crackerboxes, etc....cool stuff. I like the small 4-banger powered hydros...I think one of classes was 44 cu in which ran Crosley engines, which were also popular in small sprint cars.
