Headers and crossmember

I wouldn't elongate the holes, I'm sure that isn't the first set of those headers sold so if that were a design problem everyone installing that model of header would have that issue. What is the part number of the headers?

I don't think it would be a problem with one hole. Sometimes the quality control isn't the best which is why some people have to dent tubes and others don't.

I can't see any complaints on those headers except from the idiots who are trying to install them on an F body. Did you try to bolts that came with the headers?
 
Yes, they're the same size as the stage 8s
I called Hooker yesterday half an hour before they closed, they kept me on hold till they closed, then the line went dead, they didn't work today. I guess I'll just have to heat it and bump it in till the bolt can go through straight.

Header problem FINALLY SOLVED with a trip to my local Midas shop. The manager heat and beat the tube enough to get the bolt through..I finally got to talk a tech at Hooker, he said I obviously got a set that wasn't done for a/c . I made a set of headers for a past project that wasn't much more trouble than these were.
