I can relate and I'm only 41. The surgeon had to cut about a foot of my colon out late last year and I think it nearly killed me. You just have to keep fighting.Understandable, it's HELL getting old, I'm gonna be 63 in August.

Interested to see how this turns out, I'm in the same boat now with my Jegs crossmember and Schoenfeld headers. Post some pics when you get it figured out.
I had sold the crossmember to Doug so he pm'd me yesterday to say that the headers were the issue and he got the headers replaced which fixed the problem. Summit replaced the Flowmaster headers for Hooker headers so it's nice that Summit stood behind the products they sell.
It turned out to be the headers, not the crossmember.Well I guess I might have to try those s bend pipes myself to see if they'll work.

The s-bend collectors at summit that worked for me are part # hed-18804 u just need to trim them for youer app thay come long because I had the same problem no problems all gone
I have a new question, my motor mount has what's like an upside down steel box attached to the engine. Can I trim it down to make the header fit? Hooker said they would only fit with stock mounts. Being 38 years old who knows what they are.Jim could you share a pic of your setup? I may try those s bends on my car.

I trimmed down the upper part of the motor mount, the header now fits on BUT the front tube has so much curve to it, I can't get even the shortest header bolt in. Any ideas. I actually have to put in a longer bolt to mount the lower a/c bracket with bolts 2 and 3.Well I'm not sure exactly what you have but I have heard of people trimming the corners off of mounts so that headers will clear.
