Lmao, ok well fingers crossed the one coming is better. I ordered a turn signal switch too as this one is brokenThat new switch is just a turd, made in the last 5 minutes of the shift on a Friday before a 3 day weekend turd.
So does the same lever on the column control the turn signals and the dimmer?Lmao, ok well fingers crossed the one coming is better. I ordered a turn signal switch too as this one is broken
Thanks for this. So my car has a non tilt/non cruise column. The turn signal lever that sticks out of the side of the column was broken off before i bought the car. I think it looks like (attached pic) Does this lever also toggle the dimmer switch? I cannot tell by the diagram. Here's a basic column break down.

The lever attaches to the mechanical pivot that besides activates the the turn signal switch pushes a rod downward to depress the dimmer switch itself which is mounted down at the same location of the ignition switch. Thanks for this. Ok if anyone can answer this …. See pic. The “mechanical pivot” as pagrunt put it is broken. I was able to get the little piece of lever out of it. I dont even know where to begin to think where i’d find this part… any thoughts? The lever attaches to the mechanical pivot that besides activates the the turn signal switch pushes a rod downward to depress the dimmer switch itself which is mounted down at the same location of the ignition switch.
It has a hollow sleeve bolt holding in. The shaft for the dimmer goes thru this boltDoes it have a pin or a hollow bolt holding it in the column?
