Heat soak......tired of it

Old cars take time and money. Sometimes they kick your *ss too. That is why I traded in my 2010 Challenger for a new 2017 Challenger GT, not only the AWD and better options but it was someone else's problem for the next 100,000 km. I own 4 other problem children, I need one good kid.

Carefully pry the gear to engage the flexplate and measure your gear clearance which should probably be between .020 - .030
I use a piece of mig wire to check mine.

I tried pulling it out with my fingers to see how much of it will actually make contact....but probly wasn't out all the way
 
I need a heavier duty eyelet connector for the ignition wire to attach to the starter since I spliced the wire. I wasn't thrilled about the ones at the part store so I will have to get some from work tomorrow. So I've been putting the nice wire loom on all my wires. Way better material than the plastic sh*t
