Get the Powermaster 9100, a good starter for the price. The 9510 would probably work and is slightly more compact than the 9100. If I can put sbc mini starters on an Olds, it should work the other way around. But I would be the sbc starter that will be near identical, will also be cheaper.

Reviews showed people having these on their 403. I'm just gonna splice that wire out. Hook everything up and get it together. Then add those fuses by the firewall if I absolutely need them.

You need the fusible links. I get the frustration, I just got out of the hate part of my love/hate relationship with the El C. Fortunately it is not a daily driver. We have a car rally and poker run in Cairo coming up and looking forward the participating. Been tooling around in it a bit. Fun fun and makes me smile

Nevermind. Googled it. 30 amp fuse for 10ga wire

What a relief! To be honest, i Wasn't sure if it was going to work. Tomorrow I have to finish assembling the exhaust. Install those fuses. Cover the wires with the loom. Route everything off/away from the headers and wrap them. Kicked my *ss pretty good
