HELP!

i started it upand it ran real rough, but good enough to idle by itself, so i got under the hood, and started tapping the carb. all over with the butt end of a screwdriver. it ran better and better each time i hit it. lol

took it for a drive< everything is back to normal! i beileve it was either a stuck float or a check valve then. Thanks guys.

next time hit it with a hammer and it'll run better an faster.... 8)

putting the 800 Q-jet on tomorrow. tried it last night, but was acting up. the member on here who rebuilt it for me is gonna fine tune it to see what went wrong there. cant wait to get it on though!! meanwhile I'm running another kids 600 holley lol.

Congrats bro. Best street carb you can get. Wait till it's dialed in and when you stomp on it, to open those mechanical secondaries, trust me you'll love it 😉
