I would not use heat around parts with brake fluid, I would freeze the bleeders instead
well i only let it run for like 2 mins before kicking it down, i really have to let it run for longer i just need to stop by the gas station again so i can refill the tank. There ya go. In cold weather, if you kick the idle down before the motor is warm enough, it runs crappy. Especially if the EFE (heat riser) is not working. That goes for the THERMAC air cleaner too. It sends hot air to the carb so it runs better. Is there a tube going from the exhaust manifold to the air cleaner? Are the vacuum hoses intact? If that stuff is not working then the motor will take a long time to get to operating temperature and smooth running.
Ohhh so that tube from the exhaust to the intake is to heat up the gas going in? thats so weird i was wondering what was the point of that. ill have to check the 2 vacuum lines that i took off when i took off the air box, to make sure i put them back in correctlyThere ya go. is it normal for the lights to dim a little when i hit the gas?
