Yeah , I saw that in your other post. I'm gonna measure the distance between the pressure plate cover and the bell housing assembled. Then measure how far the diaphragm lips extend past the cover. That should put me right on it. Then I just go under to get a gap.

and I just checked the retainer that's on it's way....they must have cut backs and are using a donkey to transport it... :wtf:

Re: Hydraulic clutch set up. Wish me luck.

Yeah, I checked that right after I got the Howe unit. Lol And the bearing came from Cali. :wtf:

Re: Hydraulic clutch set up. Wish me luck.

So far no one makes a -4an female to -3an male reducer adapter that i would use. Meaning, they were all made of aluminum. some hade o rings on the -4an side. I don't trust that. The shop that made my ss line ran out of -4an ends. So I will have to buy a hose they have that is a 24in #3 hose with 2 -4an ends. They will cut it and put a -3an end on it for me. 20 bucks. still waiting on the bearing retainer. I wouldn't be surprised if it had decals from around the world all over it when it gets here.

I have shipped out parts before and they never took this long....but I just checked and it said delivered.... 🙂

and for the an fittings I use aluminum alloy with no problems plus I would never use stainless with stainless, ss is particularly susceptible to thread galling and if you do get them attached good chance they will never come apart.

You are right, that's why teflon tape is one of my closest friends.

Well it finally drove under is own power a few hours ago. Now to complete the transformation. Hooking up the reverse lights, relocating my alarm box, finding a A4 intake, finding the leak in my AC system and fixing it. cleaning and relubing the window tracks, etc, etc,
