ok I am getting scared my car is supposed to be done last Saturday but he wasn't happy with the paint job so he sanded it down a little and is going to shoot another layer on there .. he wants it to look super wet...i just need my car by Wednesday .. and I still have to reassemble it after he paints it!
its good that he took the time to re do what he didnt like, good quality for a painter to have, will make that much more difference in the end...

ok the painter is so picky it looks pretty good to me but he is OCD or something .he used some paint I took him but he wants to repaint it with sikkens paint. He ran out of the Acme paint and said he isn't using any more on the car He is going to paint the hood with the paint he likes so he doesn't have to repaint the SS stripes...

looking good man! depending on the paint, you could turn a very good body job into a mess of spiders, runs, adhesion problems, etc. paint can also shrink and do funny stuff, its hard to control temps outside a booth, and if he is using a product he is not familiar with, he may be having some issues (sometimes you gotta more or less hardener/reducer etc, than what is rec by the product)... he is prob giving you a very good deal huh? all outside a paint booth too? anyhow, keep it up bro... sikkens is good paint and decent price for what you get... i used pretty expensive stuff on my last three projects and I know how that can get...
