So it'd still be a way to upgrade and still get a relatively fresh box then?I believe the Monte SS box is 12.7:1 if I'm not mistaken.

I don't know if the Blazer steering box is compatible...it probably is, but I never heard of it being used as a replacement...however, the manual box does fit, which means it most likely can be used.So it'd still be a way to upgrade and still get a relatively fresh box then?
I think you'll like it. In my opinion it has a better road feel.I'll be going with a monte ss steering box!
Getting lines to work out shouldn't be an issue, but I'd compare pitman arms.I actually compared putter dimensions on the box in my old 99 parts blazer to the stock box in my 86 cutlass. Seemed exact interchange tho I never tried fitting PS lines
Check all your grounds. In the front you'll find one on each side coming from harness and connected to the core support. Sometimes they're not fastened snuggly, or just need to clean up the connections. Also check your bulbs and sockets... I'm sure you did that.I'm chasing an electrical gremlin turn signals work rear running lights work, 4 way flashers work but the front running lights aren't need to chase it down ughhh!
Will do sir thanks!!Check all your grounds. In the front you'll find one on each side coming from harness and connected to the core support. Sometimes they're not fastened snuggly, or just need to clean up the connections. Also check your bulbs and sockets... I'm sure you did that.

You talk about "belly buttons". Why are putting a Chevy engine in your Pontiac? 😛
