Installing alt on passenger side

I got it all together. Didnt have to clock the alternator due to being pushed out a but further. Its about an inch away from the cover. Just need a shorter belt and a longer wire that goes from the battery to the alternator. Just another hoop to jump thru...this car loves making me do that

So no clearance issue now?

Post a pic. Does the alternator belt go around the water pump and crank pulley? If it doesn't you need different pulleys.

Ya still a clearance issue with the new bracket covering the power steering belt. Had to shave it down a bit more. So now if the power steering belt needs replaced i need to take off the alt belt and remove the waterpump pulley...then possibly remove the new bracket just to get the power steering belt off.......i think theres something else going on....shouldnt have been this much stuff to go thru

Just shave down the one side of the pulley thats hitting the bracket.....

So this is my end result....for now...

I have to go take a look under my hood tomorrow, I don't remember that pulley being that big looking.

I have no idea. But i know that this 1 bracket shouldnt be affecting everything else like it is....also looks like the 3 grooves on the WP pulley are slightly different. 2 look to be the same size, the larger groove seems skinnier....seems like the vbelts fit really nice into the first 2 grooves of the pulley

I will take a look at mine in the morning, it is ridiculously windy here now.

If I lift the car cover it will blow away!!!

Get their billet pulleys for a 6" water pump and be done. They have pulleys that aren't ridiculously under driven. That skinny pulley is for the air pump. You need two belts driven off the crank or it will squeal so bad it will actually burn off the belts. That is the normal vin Y setup, the A/C is driven off the other groove, you have that removed, so only one belt driven off the crank. Non A/C pulleys are different and use a shorter water pump.
