I just bought a complete package of hardware and clips for my El Camino interior from The Parts Place online. Everything is in individual little bags that are numbered to match the list they supply of what each bag is for. $71.00 w/tax and delivery, a little pricy but it’s going to be convenient as all hell when I put my interior back together.

If it really has everything you need, I think its a hell of a good deal.
That's one of the issues of buying the "kits". You're either going to be over or under covered. When you're done, you'll have several clips left over which could be a good thing. Or, you'll be short this or that clip or two, or it actually fits something else and doesn't line up.

But, time is money, so if most of your clips are old, dried out and crackly, it's good to replace them all at the same time and kits are sometimes a wise choice.

I've collected all the GM clips and crap over time and because you have to buy sh*t like that most of the time 10 or 20 at a time, it's well over 71 bucks for all the clips and fasteners you would need.

The rear headliner moulding clips ( 5 ) go for over $5.00 each at Summit. To buy everything thats included individually would probably be one hell of alot more. The kit is specifically for G-body El Camino
