Well, Ever since I retired, I can't get two hours to work on my junk. I built a 455 Olds with a 700R for a guy and put it in a 64 F85. He then brought me his little 63 Chevy short box for me to doll up the motor, install a tilt and finesse a little. He then brought me the F85 back to get the firewall smoothed and painted and decided he wanted an LS3 with a six speed auto. So, that's where we're at today. F85 Firewall is smoothed and painted, I have a complete LS3 six speed combo with everything from the donor car except the sheet metal sitting in a crate in the driveway. I found him a buyer for the 700R and today I spent dolling up the 455 to put it on Craigslist.

The seats for my big truck are at the upholsterer having the inserts replaced with a contrasting color. The interior was so grey, my grey matter couldn't stand it. Besides, that's what we do, buy something, tear it apart and totally change it. So now the carpet is red, headliner is grey, overhead console and center floor console are red and the seat bolsters are grey. Upper dash is grey, lower dash is red. I just found an automotive electrical person to wire all my switches and lights on the big truck. I have three or four days work on the air suspension then my tow rig is done.

The same guy that's doing the seats on my truck is going to do the interior on my wagon. Thing is, he's only in Arizona for the winter then he blows back to Iowa for the summer. Kinda what I plan on doing once I get my stuff together. This year however, it looks like I'll be sweating it out in another AZ summer.

I know it's a little thing but the belt line moldings/window fuzzies really pissed me off. So, wait for it, I spent the long dollar and have two of the four OE GM seals. Naturally, they're a left front and a right rear so I can't even finish one side of the stupid thing. So, all is well or gone to hell in Mudville.

Other than that Mrs. Lincoln; How was the play?

:blah:

2 more window seals to go, I'd love to see some more pics of the truck when it's done. That thing is total Overkill, I love it.

Yous guys are too kind.

Too busy to work on my own junk. Been restoring muscle car chassis's and nearly let my post sink into the abyss. Been looking at LED Taillights tonight for the wagon. Have to be sure before I commit. Don't want to go and muff up my aluminum bumpers.

Yep, I'm sure everyone is burnin gas by now, as it should be. Winter here in Arizona is when the desert rats come out to play, just in time for most everyone else to put their toys away.

Not to worry, I have too much invested in this sled to let it sit for too much longer. ...

Stay Thirsty my Friends. ... SB ...
