Thanks for the replies guys. The shape of the webbing on the bottom of the trunk lid is quite a bit different on the Malibu and the Regal compared to a GP. Hopefully a member with a GP will post up.
Yes there are two different ones. I believe the scissor style chassis jack started in 1981I think there's two different ones, one for a bumper jack and one for a scissor jack 😎

Does your car have a jacking decal on the bottom of the trunk lid Steve?When I read the title I thought you were talking about the decal we put on our race cars to show the location where the jack goes on each side.
