HELP Jacking decal placement

Thanks Danny! I wish I could get a better look at it but it gives me a good idea of where to start.
I checked google images which you probably did too. I then checked Bryans Grand Prix vid at classic G body garage and no trunk shot. I then checked the video that someone posted here of the Grand Prix in a salvage yard and nothing again. I don't usually do P.I. work but when I do, I go for youtube. Lol

FWIW I don't think I have ever seen 2 in the exact same place. I believe it was just stick it on the underside of the trunk lid as it was rolling down the line type of thing. Very seldom are they straight or centered

I'v got to go by the shop tomorrow night, hope I can remember to take a pic

For what it's worth, here's where mine is, 87 Cutlass, original sticker

My 2 cents is: You've done so much more to this car to make it better than it ever was stock, why put yourself in a box over that sticker? I have the feeling some random dude on the assy line just slapped that sticker on anywhere. Just look at the last pic. Whoever put those stickers on should have his eyes checked (or his blood/alcohol level).

I say the rest of the car is heavily modified (and beautiful), put the stickers on where it adds to the good looks. I don't think GM cared where it went, why should you.

Hutch is kinda right, the 80's weren't a high for the general's quality control... The decal on mine runs over the edges as well. I remembered someone saying that there was a couple different ones out there, so I got a close shot of the sticker as well.
