My ground effects and scoop from Lauren came white as did my Monte parts many years ago.

The Monte SS conversion does comes with a black nose because their kits use a factory one that is urethane but the El Camino would be fiberglass so it would be white.
The OPGI kit also has a SRX19EL part number that is similar to Lauren's LEX-19-EL.

As I said OPGI told me yesterday in an email,Lauren makes what they sell. What's really agrlvating is that at this time last year Honest Charlie's price for the SS nose was $1,200.00 then it shot up to $1,600.00 now in the last 2 weeks it's gone to $2,200.00. The SS nose has been a big part of my plan for my Elco ever since I started daydreaming about this build years ago. Now because Laurens gone and DISHONEST CHARLIE'S is such a rip off , I guess I'll gave to come up with a new plan.

I would imagine whatever kits OPGI gets in for the SS conversion that are supposed to arrive in a week or so will be the last of them at least from L.E.
The Honest Charlie kits look different, did ask them who makes theirs?
And I agree that kind of markup in a such a short period of time is ridiculous.

It's been my understanding that DISHONEST CHARLIES either took over or just changed the ChooChoo Customs name. I just talked to one of they're salesman 2 weeks ago when the price was $1,600. He didn't say anything about a price increase coming. Hell I would have rearranged my finances to have bought it then.

If you have no issue with the Lauren piece you could maybe still order it even though they are currently on backorder but it says they are expected to be in the week of Feb, 19th but I would imagine it will be the last bit of stock Lauren has and will probably go fast with Honest Charlie's current and rising prices.

When I spoke with Craig at OPGI he said he had 3 kits coming and two were already sold. I wouldn’t wait if you want one. They may already be gone

$162.00 for the nose kit, 6 piece ground effects, rear bumper cover and the front nose spoiler to my home in Texas. My total bill for the Lumina nose kit and the rest was $2200 and change to my door.

I just pulled the trigger and ordered my SS nose from OPGI. He said they have 6 coming in.
