Could you even find a snowblower for sale in Arizona???? Wife showed me avid of the Tucson PD sending off this "white powdery substance" to the lab for testing.

We get it every year

Must suck to have to look at those mountains all the time...you should move to central Oklahoma, where we have no such distractions 😛

At least take a grunch of pics for your own use as you tear sh*t apart so you can recall how it looks when it was together. 🙂 Bag and tag everything. My recall function isn't what it used to be.
Oh I started that yesterday👍👍 as the rear brake drums came off and I thought, oh here we go again. DRUM BRAKES!! ARGH!!
But a wheel cylinder was leaking and when I pulled the brake drum off....I see the brakes shoes do need replacing.😢
So with colored paints,😎I painted the attaching points the same color to get them matched up, I also sketched drawings for
my own edification as to how this goes and what goes in front of what. I also took pics as a back up.
At nearly 70, my memory is not my best friend unless I am accused of a bad deed then I can name it and claim it.
The paint will come off with brake cleaner so no harm and no foul,
and to those that feel it's overkill, why let let what works for me, work for me and you do it your way. Frank SInatra made a great
song about how " I DID IT MY WAY" and he probably never replaced drum brakes in his life. But you get my point, or NOT.😊

The parts order went out. New fuel tank, sending unit, rear brake shoes, brake wheel cylinders, fuel filter, transmission filter and gasket, rear output shaft seal for transmission, and it appears one of the rear shocks is leaking so I will add them to my list for today.

Due to our epic snowstorm😱, we haven't had mail for the past several days so hopefully some parts will show up by weeks end. The sun is shining and
it will almost be 50 today. The air is sweet,👍the sky is blue,😎 and I have lots, :banana:LOTS to do........thanks for all the added posts even if they are off topic.😉

Here's a question I am sure someone can answer..and please........answer without critcism :rant:of the question::doh:

Do I need to paint the new fuel tank?🤔

If so .......WHY?🤔

If not, will it rust?🤔

Never replaced one before so this is my first rodeo cowboy with a fuel tank............😀

There is only ONE snow shovel IN TUCSON that is used collectively by the residents. A snowblower in Tucson is basically just a strong Santa Anna wind.

If'n it were me, I'd probably hit it with some matte flexible clear of some sort if they even make that stuff if worried about it. Don't go too crazy, because when you add fuel, the tank will sag in the middle and cause cracking maybe. I've never painted a tank. If you don't, I'm not sure if it will rust because it all depends on the galvanizing coating on the tank from the factory. Wherever that is. Might be enough, or may not be. Might just do it around the tank seams and neck penetration.

In AZ, not sure how much moisture you'd be dealing with so is rust an issue?
