Hey, look at it this way, cross threaded line, car got parked, car was never wrecked stolen or driven into the ground after that, now you get to upgrade to S10 wheel cylinders and some new lines, it's really a win all around......
DING DING DING.................we have a winner ladies and gentlemen...........HE found the GOOD in the BAD. My kind of person.
I am refreshed with new vim and vigor, (look that up you youngins) and ready to tackle another day.........

Already received the silly dumb wheel cylinders with their stupid design of the clip instead of two bolts. GM engineers had too many martinins at lunch
when they came back with that idea. All to save 15 cents a car? Really GM...........remember us shade tree mechanics?

But I digress so it's back to a sunny day, we are down to less than a foot of snow with all the melting, the temp is in the 50s, the sky is blue and my
pain medicine is giving me enough relief to go address that brake wheel cylinder.

Out of my way Pilgrim.....as John Wayne would say...............but first, coffee and prayer........and to take in all the blessings we miss when we are too busy.
Time for the 9 inch with disc brakes 😉

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm let me think about it NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

People just LOVE spending my money.................are you with the government or a family member on my wife's side???????????😊

This thread has a disturbing lack of photos.

Would you like Vacation Photos or Family or Wildlife or Pets or Selfies or ......................ones of my childhood, school, graduation,
governmental like on my driver's license or ones by my wife, truly out of focus and you need to guess what the subject is?

And now for the pretty part.............a bit of anti seize thinking of the next guy to keep from rusting fast, and a 1 1/8 inch socket from the back
and BAM! Snaps right in......oh my GM.......I saved a lot of time with that snap ring.......you were right.......you are always right.

And now...........to put the new brake shoes on and admire my DIY. Then realize I have another side to do. Please don't let this one be like the other one.

I couldn't believe I didn't have a line twist off on my 1970 Cutlass S, especially considering it is not a rust free car and nearly 50 years old. Of course that was just the front pair, I still need to do the back pair. Always lube and heat to remove and start the flare fitting by hand to help avoid cross threading.
