79 GP with factory 4 speed, T- tops, a/c. I bought this one about 5 years ago. I have owned another on that's a lj model in high school, bought it in 1990 and still own it. Had another 78, 79, and a 80 silver edition that was beyond repair, I bought it for the interior due to it being silver and black

Wow that's a beautiful car! Love how you did the accent red stripes down low! Also the wheels and stance are on

Beautiful car! I think that's the best looking 78-80 I've seen.

That's a great looking car. The 79 4- speed is so rare it feels good seeing one that survived. I wonder how many still exist? I myself am guilty of junking one, but there was not one part left that was not rusted through. It broke my heart to scrap it. Good luck with your car

There were 232 made, some have been switched to a automatic. I checked with phs and they could not tell me how many were left as I would like to know. A friend keeps trying to talk me into putting a bigger motor in but I'm trying to keep it mostly original.

Just got this one an 82 Grand Prix brougham 5.7l diesel fuel Injection and can't forget the t top though

Alejandro, that's a great looking GP. I drooled over that for a couple of months on Craigslist. I'm just two and half hours east of you in Western Kansas. I really looked hard at that car...but I already had a T-top GP (that I bought in Denver a year or so ago). Good luck with that diesel. I've had a couple of them (82 Malibu, 82 Caprice). I'm also looking into an 83 GMC Caballero with the 5.7L Diesel.

I am actually building (as in converting to) a stick car right now. I plan to put a T-Top roof on it. Now, if a nice person were to just sell me his it would save me a lot of work. I'm sure Santa would put him on the nice list.

Seriously, If someone knows of one of those that become available in the future, please let me know. I am an avid Pontiac collector (as my budget allows of course) and I would love a real 4 spd car. T-tops are a plus but not a requirement.
